Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a performer, writer, and actress in America for more than 40 years. Most famously, she is known for her role as Ginger Grant (in the 60s television show Gilligan's Island). In the 1950s she began her professional career as an actor on stage for Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. In the 1950s, she acted as a stage artist in several Broadway productions before gaining into national fame with the release of Li'l Abner's debut in 1957. She also released her first album of music, It's Time For Tina in the same year. Louise's first foray in Hollywood was in the role of Griselda as Griselda in the film God's Small Acre which was a 1958 drama. The film received widespread acclaim. Louise won the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the year category. She enrolled in Actors Studio, New York at the time, and later became Lee Strasberg's teacher. The next memorable role she played was in 1964. The actress signed with CBS to play Ginger Grant. Louise continued to have a successful professional career that combines Broadway television and Hollywood and portraying an empathetic, as opposed to the glamour doll image she was perceived. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series starred her as SG-1's Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. However, in recent years she has also become a renowned director on popular TV series like Supernatural and The 100. Born in Essex on August 28, 1965 and her family moved to Toronto when she was three which is where she spent the rest of in the adolescent years and childhood. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver, Canada after her selection for the lead role.
