Jhene Aiko is an R&B performer in the US. Her most well-known work is her mixtape called Sailing Souls (s). It is available on her internet site in 2011. Her music career started in her early teens when she was a member of the R&B group B2K. They introduced her as a 'cousin' to B2K rapper Lil Fizz which was a fake promotion strategy to draw people. The songs she has released included Sail Out The Worst Uh Huh and Why I love You. In 2002 she debuted as a singer-songwriter on the soundtrack to the film The Master of Disguise by singing the track Cherry Pie. The singer also appeared in her boyfriend ORyans video debut album, Take It Slow. She is a R&B Hip-Hop Rap artist. Her single 3:16 AM which was released by the renowned publishing house A&R gained her acclaim; the song was made available for digital download through iTunes. The international recognition she earned came through her collaboration with Canadian rapper Drake for the release of his album "Nothing Was the Same". In May 2014, her track The Worst reached the No.1 position in the US Billboard R&B Hip-Hop category. It also was ranked 11th in 'Hot R&B /Hip-Hop tracks. Three categories were included in her nominees for the Grammy Awards.
